Position: Demi Chef de Partie – 5 straight shifts
Business: Iconic 5 Star Hôtel – 2AA rosette restaurant
Salary: up to £22,000 per annum (included service charge)
Location: Central London, near tube station
We are currently recruiting a Demi Chef de Partie for the main kitchen of this sumptuous 5 Star hotel in Central London.
As a Demi Chef de Partie you will be working under a well-known Executive Chef who has been trained around the world. His cuisine is influenced by his favourite dining and cooking experiences from around Europe, utilising quality local produce. The ingredients are the key elements. They only use the freshest and most seasonal products, strictly sourced for their quality and provenance.
As the Demi Chef de Partie, you will be helping the chef de partie in his section. You will ensure that you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. Also, you will be monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
To be successful for the Demi Chef de Partie position, you will need:
* To be driven by the passion for delivering the best dishes to the customers
* Have previous experience in 5-star luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant as Demi Chef de Partie or commis
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications
