Our client, Boutique Manor House Hotel , situated in Surrey is looking to recruit a talented Junior Sous Chef. The menu emphasis is Modern European. Much of the kitchen’s produce is grown on site.
As a Junior Sous Chef you will produce a range of dishes for their award-winning Rosette Restaurant as well as for their events, weddings and function clients. You will be preparing meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner, wedding and functions, afternoon teas, room service menus. Involvement across all areas of the kitchen will allow you to develop your technical, costing, team management and coaching skills.
We are looking for a passionate and brilliant Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef for this position. You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience from your previous role within the industry. You will work as part of the Kitchen Brigade creating inspired meals for their clients, to the highest possible standards. You will be supporting and managing the Kitchen brigade of 8 chefs and 3 kitchen porters alongside the talented head chef and sous chef.
Junior Sous Chef- DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* At least one year experience as Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or AA restaurant.
* Be dedicated, motivated and positive individual.
* Experience across a variety of kitchen sections
* Used to working within a small team – sense of team spirit and passion for quality and excellence
