I’m looking for a competent Sous Chef to help Manage Kitchen and team for a branded restaurant near Croydon. In an business with a fantastic menu selection and quality is always assured with a brilliantly sourced products. Serving up a menu of char-grilled classics and a Sunday Carvery with a fantastic reputation, the kitchen is the engine room of this business and as the Head Chef it would be your responsibility to ensure every plate leaves the kitchen to the highest standard and quality.
The ideal candidate will come from a high volume branded pub or restaurant background with relevant experience as a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef or Sous chef. You will understand how to manage your stocks and ensure that the GP is meeting your budgeted target and have a thorough knowledge of all Back of House paperwork including due diligence, Health and Safety, COSHH & HACCP. Of course as a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef it should go without saying that you will be passionate about training your team and getting the best out of them at all times.
