The fine dining restaurant of our client, a boutique hotel in Central London is looking to recruit a talented pastry chef to help them to achieve a Michelin star for next year. You will lead a team of two pastry chefs ( a pastry chef de partie and demi pastry chef) and you will be in charge of their training.
As a Pastry Chef, you will be working closely with the head chef and the executive chef, a celebrity chef to create the dessert menu for the fine dining restaurant, afternoon tea, etc… They have built their reputation believing passionately that sustainably sourced, locally-foraged and seasonal produce is absolute. Their dishes are simple in their approach to highlight the wonderful flavours and beautiful quality of these ingredients. They produce an inventive and contemporary Modern British cuisine.
We are looking for this position a strong pastry chef de partie or above with Michelin star experience that is confident enough to create their own desserts . The ideal pastry chef would have gained strong experience within Modern British restaurant in London or abroad and would have a good stability in each previous role.
As a pastry chef, you will receive a generous salary package. You will be working Tuesday to Saturday and have Sunday, Monday off.
